The tree is up, the lights are on, and Christmas is well and truly underway. I've been home for most of December and enjoying the break and wanted to share the photos I've been taking throughout the month. The day itself is often underwhelming as most of my relatives are long gone and the holiday doesn't hold much significance, but I still like to make what I can of the season and enjoy being home. I love a bit of kitsch, so I do enjoy reveling in all of the tacky decorations! Especially as many of my mothers date back to my great grandmother.

I'm feeling really positive about the coming year. It's going to be a lot of change for sure, but I have every confidence it's all for the better. I've just signed up for a TEFL course, to give you a little hint of the direction I'm hoping to go after my studies! Here's to making 2018 absolutely wonderful!
I wish you all the happiest of holidays and New Years, however you spend it ♥
I adore vintage holiday decorations! To me it just isn't Christmas without a bunch of wonderfully kitsch decor. These photos remind me of photos I have taken around my Mom's house, she has a huge collection of antique decorations. I hope the rest of your holiday is lovely!
ReplyDeleteMe too! I can't stand modern decorations with their minimal colour schemes, it's boring, the more colourful the better! Christmas is supposed to be tacky so why not revel in it! Thank you, I hope you enjoyed yours too!
